COMPETITIVE SQUAD SWIMMING

Swimmers are invited into the squad usually at aged nine year & above.

Squad swimmers are trained by (or under the supervision of) qualified level three and four coaches, who follow a 12 month targeted cycle as directed by the Head Coach.

Session days and times are dependant on which squad you are in.

Members of the squad are expected to compete in the galas for which they are selected, i.e. - the club championships, the county championship, Speedo and Junior leagues as well as competing in open meets.

You will have the opportunity to attain swimming awards relevant to age and ability
