County Championships - Sessions 5 & 6

Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, Weston-super-Mare, Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th March 2010

 

Saturday and Sunday saw the great and the good of Somerset Swimming reconvene at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, for another instalment of this years County Championships. As customary the Dolphin swimmers were in fine form and once again they returned with a healthy collection of medals, club records, ASASW qualifying times together with numerous PB’s.

 

Saturday’s action saw the 12 year & under boys (Jasper Lye, Alex Joy, Max Granger and Tom Smith) make their way to the podium on two occasions as they gained silver medals in both the medley and freestyle relays.

 

The individual age group medal winners from the weekend were Jasper Lye, Tom Smith, Max Granger, and Liam O’Sullivan whilst Ryan Gay, Nick Parks and Sam Purnell all picked up medals in Youth Finals.
