February 10 SOTM
The awards for this month go to two girls who, having only been with the squad for some six months, are both relative newcomers. It is therefore remarkable how much progress these two girls have made in a relatively short period of time. The girls in question are Freya Wills and Charlotte Perkins.
Freya is one of those swimmers who only needs to be told things once and then just
“gets on with it”, as a result her stroke technique has consistently improved over
the time that she has been with the squad. Just add the final part of the jigsaw
now Freya -
Lottie has come on in leaps and bounds since joining the squad and her breaststroke in particular is looking awesome. Lottie competed at the Corsham Open Meet where on two occasions she was just one place away from a podium position. It was therefore a great reward for all her hard work when Lottie achieved a Bronze for the 50m breaststroke. A well deserved swimmer of the month. Keep it up Lottie.
