ASASW Championships -
Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th June, Millfield School
The second and final weekend of competition for the regional age group championships took place on Saturday and Sunday at Millfield School in Street and the Bath Dolphin squad was again represented by Jasper Lye, Max Granger and Tom Smith.
On Saturday Tom Smith finished third in the 200m freestlye final (narrowly missing out on a second NQT0. Sundays action saw Jasper Lye record a two second PB in qualification for the final of the 100m breaststroke in which he finished 7th.
The FINA points awards (BAGCATs) were also presented on Sunday afternoon and in the boys 13 years age group category Tom Smith finished in 7th place (an improvement of one place from last year)

Regional Short Course Sprint Gala
On Sunday 4th July the action will switch to a short course format at the GL1 centre in Gloucester where the swimmers from both the Age Group and Youth Championships will compete in the Regional Sprints Event.
There they will each swim a 50m race in all four strokes together with a 100m Individual Medley. The FINA points from all five events will be collated to determine the overall placings for each of the age group categories.
