Dolphin Duo Heading to Nationals
Well Done Luke & Tom
Well earned congratulations are due to both Luke Ladrooke and Tom Smith who will this year be representing the club at their respective National Championships.
Luke will be competing in the British Gas ASA National Championships in Sunderland. This event takes place between the 18th & 21st August at the Sunderland Aquatic Centre. Having qualified for both the 50m and 100m backstroke events Luke will be relishing the opportunity of competing against opposition of the highest quality.
As previously reported Tom Smith will be heading to his first National Age Group Championships where he will be competing in the 100m freestyle. This event takes place at Ponds Forge in Sheffield where Tom will be swimming on 29th July.
Qualification for these National events is just reward to both swimmers for their staunch commitment to training and their determined approach to all aspects of the sport.
Well done to you both and good luck at the Nationals.
