Girl power triumphs again for the April awards.

Kaya Fox rejoined the squad after returning from several months away touring New Zealand, Australia and America - in a camper van (not sure if it was the same camper van!). It was remarkable how quickly Kaya adapted on her return to squad training. It was as though she had never been away. Progress has been just amazing in the past few months and Kaya has become a dominant member of the “Lane 4” contingent. She has recently extended her training to include sessions with the Competition Squad and has just completed five consecutive training sessions - awesome. Great work Kaya. Keep it up.

Eleanor Gay is one of our more recent squad members but through a lot of hard work and commitment has adapted well to the rigours of squad training. Eleanor was one of the five Bath Dolphin swimmers who recently took part in the Swimathon at the Bath Sports and Leisure centre, a nationwide event organised in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Research, the team swimming in the “Team 5k Challenge” section. Very well done Eleanor. Keep up the good work.

And a big thank you to Eleanor and to the other “Team 5k Challenge” members, Lily Booker, Charlotte Perkins, Isobel Staines and Jamie Rowley for giving up your time on a Saturday evening. It was good fun though and you will have to let us know how much you raised - lots we reckon.
