World Championship Success for Alex
Saturday 30th October, Dubai International Marine Club, Dubai
Fabulous news from the UAE where the World Biathle Championships have been held over the weekend. Alex Hind must be smiling from ear to ear after gaining an individual bronze and team silver medal at the World Championships.
For those who are not familiar with the event, Biathle involves a continuous race with three consecutive sections. Competitors run from a group start, then undertake an open water swim followed by another run. In Alex’s age group the distances of each section are a 500m run, a 50m open water swim and a final 500m run.
Well done Alex, an outstanding result, be sure to bring your medals along for everyone to see.
