The girl swimmer of the month goes to Neve Bakewell. Neve has been a member of the junior squad for a number of years and receives the award for a second time. Neve has impressed with recent marked improvement in all her strokes especially her butterfly. The performances in recent galas, the S.J.L. and inter club galas has shown how well Neve has improved. For instance, those swimmers who are looking for someone to emulate when it comes to racing starts, Neve’s streamlining is second to none. Well done Neve and we look forward to your performances in the club winter gala.
The boy swimmer of the month is another girl! Olivia Locke. Olivia has grown into one of the strongest swimmers in the junior squad and continues to improve and develop. Part of the all conquering 9 year old relay squad and a fast improving individual we have great hopes for Olivia. We will be looking closely at her times this coming gala. Well done Olivia keep up the good work.
Boys do not be downhearted! A lot of you have just joined the Junior Squad and whilst a number of you have impressed we have decided that it is early days. Work hard during November and can win this prestigious award.
Well done to all our junior swimmers at the second round of the Speedo League, we comfortably qualified for the finals in December and look forward to more records and “personal bests” taking Bath Dolphin, no doubt, to our best finish in a number of years. Well done to everyone involved.
