Corsham Open Meet - Results

Corsham Open Meet, Springfield Leisure centre, Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd January 2012

 

The squad was out in force at the weekend competing at Springfield Leisure Centre where Corsham Swimming Club held their annual open meet. In recent years this gala has proved to be extremely popular amongst Dolphin swimmers as it provides the opportunity of some pre-Counties race practice in a friendly local environment. This year was no exception and Bath Dolphin fielded the largest visiting squad by some margin.

 

There was plenty of medal success too for the travelling supporters to cheer. The team came away with the a stunning tally of 71 medals (23 gold, 20 silver and 28 bronze) which was the largest haul of all the competing clubs.

 

In the FINA points awards Bath Dolphin also made it to the winners rostrum as Lucas Lawman won the 9 year boys award, Jasper Lye won the 12 year boys category.

 

Well done to all the swimmers who competed at the gala!
