County Championships - Days 6 & 7

Millfield School, Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th March 2012

 

Dolphin swimmers were out in force at the weekend for the final two days of this year’s County Championships. The action on Saturday featured the 50m sprint events and on Sunday the focus turned to the 200m freestlye and medley races.

 

On Saturday morning, the sprint session for swimmers of 12 years and under produced seven top three medals for Dolphin swimmers which were awarded to Laura McNab (3nr), Izzy McNab (4nr).

 

In the afternoon session the older swimmers picked up a further 10 medals with Luke Ladbrooke gaining four (including bronze in the 50m freestyle championship final) Tom Smith winning three, Alex Joy, Max Granger and Scott Gay winning one each.

 

The Sunday sessions featured the 200m freestyle and individual medley events and there were yet more medals for Bath Dolphin. These came in the shape of Laura McNab (2nr), Izzy McNab (2nr), Tom Smith (2nr), Max Granger & Luke Ladbrooke.

 

The list below shows all the swimmers who gained top eight placings over the weekend:-
