Laura McNab looked completely at ease on her debut visit to the South West Regional
Age Group Championships where the very impressive set of results she put together
from her three events placed her at the head of the 10 year girls BAGCAT list.
First up on day one was the 200m Individual Medley in which Laura stormed to victory
in the final with a winning margin of over 5 seconds. Having qualified for finals
in both her events on day two, Laura opted not to swim the 100m backstroke, concentrating
her efforts on the 200m freestyle which she again dominated with a winning margin
of over 7 seconds. Well done Laura great results.
Also competing over the weekend were Izzy McNab, Jasper Lye & Ieuan George who all
recorded new long course PB’s. Izzy competed in both the 200m IM & 100m backstroke.
Jasper was busy swimming in the 100m backstroke, 400m IM and 100m breaststroke meanwhile
Ieuan went to the blocks in the 200m freestyle.
