Winter Gala & Championships
Friday 13th November, Bath Sports & Leisure Centre
Competition for the medals and trophies at this years Winter Gala & Championships was as fierce as ever with the finish judges having to call a number of very tight races. With close to a hundred swimmers competing the busy spectator gallery were treated to some fine racing which saw six event best times being set.
The Championship Best Times fell to Lily Booker in the 8 year girls 25m butterfly, Tom Smith (11/12 year boys 100m IM & 100m freestyle), Rebecca Cornish (15/16 year girls 100m IM), Sophie Purnell (15/16 year girls 100m freestyle) and Sam Purnell (mens open 100m butterfly).
