County Championship Long Course Results
County Championships Get Underway
A dedicated few (Rebecca Harnden, Esmee Charley, Chloe O’Sullivan, Tom Smith and Liam O’Sullivan) made the journey to Millfield School on Sunday, to compete in the long course events at this years County Championships.
Of the 40 competitors in the 800m female event the Bath Dolphin swimmers Rebecca, Esmee and Chloe finished in 33rd, 20th and 27th place respectively.
In the male 800m event Tom Smith was the sole representative for the Dolphins. His swim saw him finish in a creditable 4th place from the 13 competitors.
The days award for perseverance must surely be due to Liam though, who waited until the final heat of the day before competing in the male 1500m event. Undaunted by the wait Liam finished in 5th place overall.
The swims by Esmee and Tom are unconfirmed Club records.
